I am glad that you are visiting.

This is a typical DIY creative blog with various things. Many of them you can make at home with the kids. I like to gather my kids or invite a few friends to creative-afternoon. It's a super nice way to be together ☺Additionally, from time to time, there will be post about things and situations that just caught my attention, and I would like to share ☺

At male sten

It is so great with a 3-day weekend. The kids and I spent Saturday painting rocks. We collected them some time a go in Bramslev bakker (beautiful hillside in Denmark).

They are VERY simple do make. 1: wash the stones and let them dry 2: Paint with example acrylic paint. If it is more complicated decorations than these, it is a good idea to draw a sketch before painting.

I thing they are very cute, and my kids likes making them. It is good for the fantasy/ imagination to pick a stone, there will be suitable for a specific animal. Ore to be given a stone and decide what animal it should become.

  2. I love painted rocks and every summer I tell myself I'll make some but never actually do :)
    Yours are lovely!
P.S I tried to find your e-mail and write you about Koehlo's book but couldn't so I'll use this section to tell you that his book "Zehir" did not prove my expectations and it seems as it should have been written before the Alchemist. It is rather a weak attempt of achieving the success of the latter. However, soon after that I read both his books "The Witch of Portobello" (much better) and "Brida" which was great and I liked it a lot! It has an interesting concept and it brings Koehlo back on track! Hope to hear about your opinion!
    Have a nice Sunday!

  4. Fru olsen:

    Little Treasures:
painting rocks needs almost now preparation, so it is easy to do, a day where you have nothing prepared, and want to be creative with the kids ☺
About my email.. sorry... it is hidden as a link on the page "om mig" ("aboout me"), so perhaps with "google translate" it is possible to find the "here" for my email ☺ ... I working on getting more of my blog translated.

CREATIVE MIND: thanks for the compliment ♥
